About the Album: Lifeline

From the first moment I've discovered the handpan 7 years ago, I was mesmerized by the overall appearance of the instrument. After the first minute of listening to the magnificent sounds of the handpan, I knew that this is what I will do in my life. So I went on this journey to deeply connect to the instrument. 

During that time I discovered that playing the handpan perfectly reflects my inner world. That I can show myself, my feelings, my spirit, my true self easily by diving into the sound of these wonderful instruments. I experienced freedom. The freedom to be whoever I am. It felt like that in my music I can just let myself be and express myself in the purest form. 

As we are all human beings we are subdued to duality. We experience ourselves in joy, in ease, in relaxation, in celebration. And we find ourselves in pain, in grief, in heaviness. As soon as we start to allow ourselves to be who we are - in all our diversity - the joy will become even more bright. At the same time the ability to feel ourselves rises, it amplifies not only what we call „positive feelings“ but it also increases the perception of the „negative feelings“. So the positive and the negative poles move even more apart from each other, which means that the space in between will expand. This space between the extremes is where life happens. Expanding the space in between means that we will have more space to feel and express ourselves - we finally become fully alive. 

This is what "Lifeline" is about. Over the past few years, I collected some melodies, some harmonies, some songs that perfectly reflect my personal process - the process of a human being wandering on this planet, constantly looking for the peace within. Now I feel a chapter is closing and I am about to unfold the next one.
