This scale is a hexatonic minor scale that sits somewhere between a minor and a major feeling. Hence 'Equinox'. It has a dark and dreamy and also a bright feeling to it, making it possible to dive into a lot of different worlds.

This handpan is characterized by a particularly high dynamic range - it can be played softly and quietly as well as energetically and powerfully, while remaining stable and clean. The higher notes, as well as the shoulder tone, have a certain sharpness, adding to the power and spice of Gio's Handpans. The optical edges between the tones are soft and the surface is uniformly blue and matte.

Sergio and Malte met in 2015 on the streets of Palma de Mallorca. At that time still very unacquanted concerning Handpans, Malte learned through Sergio a deeper insight into the world of UFO instruments and the two of them played together in the local markets of Mallorca. They talked a lot about building their own Handpans and after some time Sergio was ready to start. Meanwhile he spends most of his daily life in the wooden house of his garden - the workshop. For a good 1.5 years now, Sergio's instruments have been an integral part of Malte's concert set. Especially the "E Kurd 17" has become a classic since the joint video, which impresses with its virtuosity and versatility - we are very happy to offer it to you here. Solid instruments in a constant high quality.

Don't worry, we are used to pack and ship handpans, also overseas! To ensure even more protection each handpan is sold with our Yatao softbag. You can also choose to upgrade to our Namana soft- and harcases, but this is not required for the shipment. Please be aware that shipment to a destination outside of Europe will require customs registration and thus may take a longer time period.
We ship with DHL and insure each package with at least 2500,-€.
