Shipping carriers and insurance

We ship handpans with DHL; to the USA and the United Kingdom with DHL Express (duties paid, DDP). Every handpan shipment is insured for at least €2,500 or up to the value of the goods. We ship accessories with DHL or Deutsche Post.

Dispatch time and delivery times

We generally ship within 48 hours (working days) after receipt of payment. For deliveries outside the EU, preparing the customs documents may take up to 4 working days. For pre-sale items, the shipping date stated in the product description applies.

For orders of €1,000 or more, we ship accessories, bags and hardcases free of charge; CDs from €250. If several products are ordered together, our shop system calculates the shipping costs automatically; the amount shown during the ordering process is decisive.

Customs and import duties

For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, import VAT and fees may be incurred, which you pay to the customs authority or the carrier upon import. For deliveries to the USA and the United Kingdom, these charges are already included (DDP). A commercial invoice is enclosed with every international shipment.

Transport damage

Please inspect the shipment upon receipt and report any obvious transport damage to the carrier and to us as soon as possible (info@yataoshop.com, with photos of the damage and the packaging). This does not affect your statutory rights.
