Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after fourteen days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Yatao GmbH, Heimatstraße 19, 79102 Freiburg, phone 0157 53535158, email info@yataoshop.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You may also declare your withdrawal via the withdrawal function on our website ("Withdraw contract", https://yataoshop.com/pages/withdraw-contract). If you use this option, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal without undue delay (e.g. by email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion or premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely in the case of contracts for the supply of sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery.

The right of withdrawal expires in the case of contracts for the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. online courses) if we have begun performance of the contract after you have expressly consented to our beginning performance of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period, you have acknowledged that by giving your consent you lose your right of withdrawal once performance of the contract has begun, and we have provided you with a confirmation pursuant to § 312f of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch, BGB).

Voluntary right of return (30 days)

(1) In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, we grant customers with a delivery address in the European Union a voluntary right of return: you may return goods within 30 days of receipt without giving any reason. Within the first 14 days, the statutory right of withdrawal takes precedence; the voluntary right of return merely extends the period.

(2) The prerequisite is that the goods are in unused, complete and undamaged original condition and are returned securely packaged. We recommend insuring the shipment.

(3) Please announce the return by email to info@yataoshop.com, stating the order number. On request, we will provide a return label. You bear the costs of the return shipment; if we provide the label, we will offset the costs against the refund unless otherwise agreed.

(4) After receipt and inspection of the goods, we will refund the purchase price within 14 days via the payment method originally used.

(5) Digital content, unsealed CDs and vouchers are excluded from the voluntary right of return. Customers outside the EU may agree a return with us on a case-by-case basis.

(6) The voluntary right of return does not restrict your statutory rights, in particular the right of withdrawal and the statutory warranty rights.
