Gio F2 Pygmy Ember
The F2 Pygmy 9 is tuned in a pentatonic pygmy scale, making it especially easy and intuitive to play. Because of its reduced and well-balanced note layout, almost every combination sounds harmonious. This makes it an excellent choice for beginners, while still offering depth and inspiration for experienced players.
With its low F2 central note, this handpan delivers a deep, grounding foundation. The surrounding tones create a warm, slightly mysterious atmosphere that feels calm and immersive. The sound naturally supports meditative playing, slow grooves, and expressive melodic exploration.
Featuring 9 notes on the top shell, the F2 Pygmy 9 keeps things focused and accessible. The limited number of tones encourages relaxed, musical flow and helps players connect quickly with the instrument without feeling overwhelmed.

Sound & Playability
This handpan has a wide dynamic range. It responds clearly to very soft touches, making it ideal for calm and meditative playing, but it can also be played with more energy and power without losing clarity or stability. The higher notes and shoulder tone have a slight sharpness that adds definition and character to the overall sound.
Craft & Finish
Between the tone fields, the surface is shaped by hand, giving each instrument a unique tactile and visual character. The finish is uniformly brown/golden, clean and understated, highlighting the craftsmanship without distraction.
Note
Handpans are unique, handcrafted instruments. Small variations in surface color and texture are normal and do not affect sound quality or tuning.
