Daniel Rheinhold runs wohl.klang, a handpan studio with showroom on Hans-Böckler-Allee in Hannover's Südstadt. Before the handpan he taught English and German at a state school. He found the instrument through handpan music in his morning yoga routine, started with a YataoPan D Kurd and the Beginner Journey course, and now teaches in German and English as a certified Malte Marten Method teacher.
What surprises people is how soft the sound is. Hearing it live and feeling the vibrations is a completely different experience: the body relaxes almost immediately.

Do I need musical experience to learn with Daniel?
No. Daniel is convinced that everyone carries the basics of music. With motivation and regular practice anyone can learn to play, and every learning path looks a little different.
How does a first lesson at wohl.klang start?
With exploring. At first there are no rules or exercises, so you get to know the handpan in your own way. Technique follows once you feel at home on the instrument.
