The YataoPan F# Low Pygmy 14 is crafted from stainless steel, chosen for its clean, precise timbre and long-term tuning stability. Stainless steel delivers a clear fundamental with well-defined overtones and reliable sustain.
All notes bloom with warmth and sustain with a weight that makes even gentle playing feel expressive. The four bottom notes add genuine harmonic depth, with the low D3 extending the tonal range down into a register that gives the instrument a sense of completeness.
Every YataoPan is personally played and checked before it leaves us. Instruments that don't pass are reworked on-site - including retuning, resealing, and quality corrections. If it doesn't sound right, it doesn't ship.

Additional Notes!
- Though the patina may fade or change over time, this doesn’t impact the sound or tuning of the instrument.
- To prevent discolouration of any kind, it is necessary to clean the handpan after each use. Salt and water react with the surface and cause discolouration.
- Store your Handpan in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area and not inside your bag!

Don't worry, we are used to pack and ship handpans, also overseas! To ensure even more protection each handpan is sold with our Yatao softbag. You can also choose to upgrade to our Namana soft- and harcases, but this is not required for the shipment. Please be aware that shipment to a destination outside of Europe will require customs registration and thus may take a longer time period.
We ship with DHL and insure each package with at least 2500,-€.
