Obertonhaus is a shop for overtone-rich instruments in Munich's Glockenbachviertel, run by Julia Stets. Alongside singing bowls, harmoniums and gongs from around the world, it offers personal 1:1 advice and harmonium repairs. Visitors are welcome to come in, play the instruments and take their time listening.

Trying a handpan at Obertonhaus

You can drop in during opening hours: Monday to Friday 11:00–14:00 and 15:00–19:00, Saturday 12:00–16:00. In the shop you can try the YataoPan D Kurd 13 in both 440 Hz and 432 Hz as well as the D Aegean 13. If you would like advice or a quieter moment to play, just suggest a time via the form.
