The D Kurd scale is one of the most popular and classic handpan scales. Its versatility makes it perfect for both beginners and experienced players. This scale is based on D minor, but can also be used for F major. It’s intuitive to play and is great for jamming with other musicians. The notes offer a range of moods, from deep and dark to bright and happy, providing you with rich musical possibilities.

• Though the patina may fade or change over time, this doesn’t impact the sound or tuning of the instrument.
• To prevent discolouration of any kind, it is necessary to clean the handpan after each use. Salt and water react with the surface and cause discolouration.
